VIDEO: Cat Power
This is a glimpse of my friend AmyJoy.
I made it in response to a videoblog I saw a couple weeks back by this girl Amanda.
Seemed she was making fun of girls with cats.
I notice that a lot...people who don't understand blogs always fall back on "its just girls talking about their cats".
But you see, girls are cool and so are their cats.
Just as an aside.
The more videos I make, the more I understand.
For instance, if I had to do this one over....I want to get closer.
But you know, I shot it, edited it some, threw it up.
Its a process that must be done over and over again.
Dont let anything stop you.
We got all the space in the world.

Hey Jay,
I liked a lot of segments of that video.
There was a nice closeup of the cat in there.
Good job!

You know..... I like what you did. I like the metaphor in your write up "I threw it up", just like a hairball. You'll have to meet my neighbor, Christina, she has ten cats, and a dog. She won't let you vlog her though. She's quiet, dark, sexy, European, only seen in the company of cats and a dog. She's a code writer, software programmer, and something else mysterious. I only see her late at night or very early in the morning. I see her sometimes at the local coffee binge, purchasing a bagel with tomato, her ritual she's says. I suspect other rituals, all those cats! and a dog.

girls with cats are AWESOME!!!!!
I am a girl (thus, i 'heart' cats) who is too allergic to live with them
However, I could watch other people's cats on the internet all day long
It's good that blogs aren't just about girls with cats
because then I would never get any work done
thanks for this post, J

My favorite part is the fine use of night vision to inspect the privy.

I love this piece. I particularly love the one eyed cat... Amyjoy is very cool, too.
